After 3 months injured, Dawson is almost back to the pitch

The captain of Hull City, Michael Dawson has not been able to play for around 3 months due to a knee ligament injury which he picked up back in July during Hull City’s encounter against Manfield.

Ever since Dawson sustained that injury, he has been recovering and more recently finishing up in his rehabilitation process and has even managed to get back in the training sessions of his team.

“It’s been a frustrating time for me. When you are in the treatment room, it’s the worst part of being a footballer. It’s difficult at times but you know if you work hard during your rehabilitation period you’ll get your reward. I’ve worked hard to be where I am now. I’m just about ready to return to action. The boys have been magnificent given everything thrown at us during the summer. And I can’t wait to get the kit back on and be involved.” Hull City’s Michael Dawson said as he expressed how difficult it has been for him in recent times with his knee injury.

Hull City’s upcoming Premier League is scheduled to take place on October 15 as they face off with Bournemouth and it’s expected that Michael Dawson will be making his return during this match.

“It’ll be very good to have Michael back. The more players you have back, the better it is for the squad and the team. Michael is a good guy who wants to set foot back in the Premier League and get on with it. He’s been missed but he knows he has to get back into the team now.All being well he’ll be in contention for Bournemouth. If everything goes well with his progression then he should be available.” The head coach of Hull City, Mike Phelan said as he stated that it will be good to have his captain back in the team.

Whether or not Michael Dawson actually does makes his return to the playing grounds during Hull City’s upcoming match against Bournemouth is something that will be seen when the match takes place on October 15 but the important thing is that Dawson is almost fully recovered from his recent injury.
