Championship side Hull city shocked many when they named Russian coach Leonid Slutsky the replacement for Marco Silva following their relegation from the Premier League. Silva was also a doubt when he was employed to help the club stay afloat last term. Though he failed in his mandate, he was praised for his efforts at turnaround.
Hull City skipper Michael Dawson opines that Slutsky would prove doubters wrong just like Silva did with his achievements in the short stint. Pundits claimed Silva would not be able to deliver his mandate when he was named the successor to Mike Phelan. He was thought clueless and not fit for the Premier League.
