Tottenham Hotspur are without a manager after Levy sacked Jose Mourinho in April and appointed former player Ryan Mason to take the team until the end of the just concluded season. Tottenham Hotspur started well under Mourinhoin the opening weeks of the season before things fell apart for him around the winter. He was sacked just before the Carabao Cup final encounter with eventual winners Manchester City.

Michael Dawson talked about Levy and Conte while he was on TalkSports on Friday. According to the former Spurs centre back, the North London club would be getting a serial winner if they can appoint the Italian tactician as the new manager.

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane is the main man at the club and reports claimed that he wants to leave the club this summer in his quest to start winning trophies. Michael Dawson said that Spurs chairman wants Kane to stay at the club beyond this summer and that the club is likely to win trophies under a serial winner like Conte.

Spurs were linked with a reunion with former manager Mauricio Pochettino at the start of the week before he decided to stay at Paris Saint Germain (PSG) where the Argentine tactician has one year to run on his contract. The inability to bring Pochettino back to the club led Levy and Spurs to Conte but that would no longer be possible after Sky Sports reported that the club has ended negotiations with the Italian. Conte had reservations about the club and the ability to compete with the other big clubs and that ultimately led to the breakdown in talks.
